About Our "Leading Lady",
Ina Rebecca Doss Chapman

The "Leading Lady" of St. John Baptist Church, has served faithfully for twenty-eight years in various capacities including Sunday School teacher and Board of Christian Education Instructor. She Co-Chaired the Women in Ministry, which has evolved into the Christian Women's Fellowship. Lady Chapman also served as an advisor for both the Junior and Senior Youth Fellowship.

Sister Chapman and Pastor Chapman are the parents of five children; Kenyatta Jameel, Mikeyta Irene, Tiffany Oria, Tera Elizabeth and Michael II. She and Pastor Michael Chapman have been married for thirty-three years, and are the proud grandparents of sixteen grandchildren.

Sister Chapman has served twenty-six years at Roswell Park Cancer Institute as animal surgeon, and laboratory research technician and various other clinical positions. Currently she is the Regional Director of the Witness Project of Erie and Niagara County. Working as a health advocate and motivational speaker inspired her to start her own corporation, the Western New York Information Network Association ( www.wnyina.org ), which is a family health history warehouse and wellness organization specializing in health care services for disadvantaged communities and individuals with the objective of raising the quality of life for the underserved. She is featured in Volume II of the "Uncrowned Queens; African American Women Community Builders of Western New York" http://wings.buffalo.edu/uncrownedqueens, and is also a certified lifeguard and fitness instructor. She enjoys roller skating, kite flying, sewing, and collecting greeting cards.

The Leading Lady of St. John Baptist Church serves with grace, style and a spirit of love for the Lord.
